Bringing Hope, Faith, and Transformation to Communities

Sychar Healing Ministries was founded in 2010 by Cosma Guloba in Bunyanze Village, Kizuba Sub-County, Namutumba District, Uganda. The ministry was established with a deep commitment to bringing people back to God and transforming lives through faith, education, and community support.

Our Beginnings

Before the ministry was founded, the people in our village had no church to worship in. They had to travel long distances to neighboring villages just to attend church services or access modern education. Seeing this struggle, we felt the urgent need to bring God closer to the people and create a space where both spiritual and academic growth could thrive.

When Sychar Healing Ministries started, our first focus was on children. We gathered them, provided them with spiritual guidance, and built a foundation for their faith. As the ministry grew, we realized that our community also needed a school—a place where children could access quality education without the burden of traveling far.
