Our Story

The Sychar Healing Ministries Church Project is a divine calling to establish a permanent place of worship, healing, and restoration in the heart of Namutumba. For years, Sychar Healing Ministries has faithfully served the spiritual needs of the community—bringing hope to the hopeless, healing to the brokenhearted, and revival to many souls. However, we have been operating under very humble and temporary conditions, often gathering under makeshift shelters or even trees when the weather allows.

This church project is not just about constructing a building—it’s about raising a spiritual lighthouse where people can come and encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Our Declaration of Faith

We believe that just as Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, God will help us rebuild His house here in Namutumba. What was once shaken by storms and loss, will be restored by His grace and mercy.

Why This Project Matters

A Home for Worship
The people of Namutumba need a dedicated and sacred space where they can gather freely to worship, pray, and be fed spiritually. A permanent church structure will serve as a spiritual home for believers of all ages.
A Healing and Deliverance Center
Sychar Healing Ministries has become known for its powerful prayer sessions, healing services, and deliverance ministry. The new church building will offer a peaceful and private environment where individuals can receive prayer, counseling, and restoration without fear or distraction.
A Place for Teaching and Discipleship
Our vision includes training leaders, mentoring youth, and discipling new believers in the Word of God. With proper space, we can hold Bible classes, seminars, and leadership workshops to grow strong and rooted believers.
A Shelter for the Vulnerable
During emergencies or harsh weather, the church will also serve as a safe space for widows, orphans, and families in distress. It will be a community hub where spiritual and practical support come together.

Our Project Plan

The construction of the Sychar Healing Ministries Church will happen in phases:

Phase 1: Land Preparation and Foundation
Phase 2: Building the Main Sanctuary
Phase 3: Roofing and Finishing
Phase 4: Furniture, Sound System, and Interior Setup
Phase 5: Construction of Prayer Rooms, Offices, and Washrooms
